PURCHASE OF LAMONT LANDS

Clan Lamont was once the distinguished Lamont of Cowal. Over the years, much of our ancestral land has been lost through both conflict and mismanagement.

The North-West Field adjacent to the Manse and Inverchaolain Church has been available on the market for some time. Clan Lamont had expressed interest in acquiring both the church and the field. Regrettably, the church has now been sold.

Nevertheless, the field remains for sale, and we are aware of two parties expressing keen interest. In light of this, it is imperative that we move swiftly to secure the purchase and prevent the prospect of commercial development.

We now appeal to friends and members to contribute to our fundraising initiative. Together we believe we can achieve this and help CLS start and restore our Ancestorial Land.
